Charles Raulerson, Jr., PGA Professional and Sole Golf Management President, earned his Class A from the PGA of America in 1994. He has been
teaching and playing golf for most of his life. In 2001, after his professional career on several tours, Charles began managing clubs and in 2013 became President of Sole Golf Management. During his management tenure, Charles has taken pride in turning around the Country Club of Orange Park. The success of the turn around stems from close management of membership, guest services and cash flow. Sole Golf Management is poised to purchase or manage other properties by delivering a proven track record of reducing operating costs, improving course conditions and driving cash flow to the members or owners of the club. In April 2013, Charles purchased the Golf Club at Fleming Island. Charles gives much credit to his mentors; C. Ray Raulerson, his father, Colin Armstrong and Chris Blocker, owner of the Hyde Park GC. As quoted many times, “these three gentlemen have taught me how to manage my personal life in harmony with playing professional golf and managing personal & business assets”.

In 1998, during his playing career, Charles won two events on the PGA Nationwide Tour; the Oregon Classic and the Inland Empire Open. Prior to playing on the Nationwide Tour, Charles earned his PGA Tour card in 1994 and 1999-2000. During his 1999 PGA Tour year, Charles had two top-ten and four top-twelve finishes. He played in three US Opens, enjoyed a practice round with Tiger Woods on several occasions and played in the 2000 Players Championship at TPC. Charles has won several International tournaments including the 1989 Jamaican Open, the European Challenge Tour at the 1992 South France Open and the 1993 Gortex Classic in Scotland. He applies the lessons of playing to his teaching skill sets enhancing the players ability to focus on training at the driving range and scoring on the golf course. Charles is a graduate from the fighting Tigers of LSU.
